Peer Insights reviews are integrated with Gartner Interactive Magic Quadrant’s (MQ's) on Gartner.com
When exploring MQ's on Gartner.com, users have the ability to click into the "User Reviews" tab to see how Gartner Peer Insights user reviews complement Gartner research with firsthand experiences from organizations that have implemented the solutions buyers may be considering. The dot color layered onto the Magic Quadrant graphic indicates that vendor's average rating from the Peer Insights user reviews.
Users are able to click on a dot to see more information on that vendor's ratings and reviews. Each review preview includes a link back to read the full review for context, as well as a link to read all reviews.
While the "User Reviews" tab highlights the ratings of vendors featured in the MQ, users can also scroll down to see reviews from vendors not in the MQ. This provides users with additional vendors to potentially consider, providing visibility to vendors who are not featured in the MQ, but may have reviews in the corresponding market on Gartner Peer Insights. These vendors are ordered from highest to lowest number of reviews, with at least 1 published review in the market.
Peer Insights reviews are considered as one point of peer feedback for Gartner Analyst evaluation for MQ's
Gartner Peer Insights reviews are one source of information, to be considered along with a variety of other factors, by Gartner Analysts. Analysts conduct in-depth primary and secondary research as the underpinning of the research process. They also draw from a vast network of sources, including interactions with end-user clients, technology providers, and industry leaders, in formats ranging from client inquiries, 1:1 meetings at events and a variety of other client interactions. Analysts may also incorporate content from academic, journalistic and scientific sources. While end-user feedback is important, it is one of many criteria that are considered.
Please work with the analysts authoring your note for more information on how GPI will factor into your evaluation.

Peer content reports based on Gartner Peer Insights data are available to Gartner clients on Gartner.com
1. Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer report
The “Voice of the Customer” (VOC) is a document that synthesizes Gartner Peer Insights’ reviews into insights for IT decision makers. This aggregated peer perspective, along with the individual detailed reviews, is complementary to Gartner expert research and can play a key role in Gartner clients' buying process, as it focuses on direct peer experiences of implementing and operating a solution. Only vendors with 20 or more eligible published reviews (and 15 or more ratings for “Capabilities” and “Support/Delivery”) during the specified 18-month submission period are included. Reviews from vendor partners or end users of companies with less than $50M in revenue are excluded from this methodology. See the full “Voice of the Customer” methodology here.
Vendors placed in the upper-right quadrant of the “Voice of the Customer” quadrants are recognized with the Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice distinction, denoted with a Customers’ Choice badge. The recognized vendors meet or exceed both the market average Overall Experience and the market average User Interest and Adoption.
Please note: Vendors who are not listed in the corresponding MQ may still be considered for mention in the VOC report if they meet the eligibility criteria as described in the methodology here.
The document highlights some key insights for the market based on 18 months of reviews, and will also point the reader to particular ways to use the Peer Insights site in the buying process.

The peer advice results both from successful implementation projects and learnings based on what went wrong. This peer perspective, along with the individual detailed reviews, is complementary to expert research and provides a holistic view to the implementation process. The top themes in this peer advice are summarized in a figure. The report also highlights key lessons learned and most cited recommendations by Peer Insights reviewers to help enterprise leaders in the implementation process of the given market space.
