GPI 102 Webinar Q&A
Will the presentation be shared?
Yes, the slide deck and comprehensive Q&A document will be available in the Webinars collection of your GPI Vendor Portal Resources Center.
I have a sourcing link set up before you introduced step 5 to select expiry date. How do I see when the link expires?
Links created before the expiry date was introduced will eventually be expired. You will be notified via email if any of your links are set to expire. We recommend creating a new link for your sourcing efforts to prevent any disruption to your sourcing efforts.
Will the reviews submitted in a non-English language also be displayed in English on the site, or for the Snippets?
Users viewing reviews will now see an option to translate the full review from available languages (French, Dutch, German, Italian, Portuguese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Japanese, Spanish, and English) to English directly on the Read Full Review page. Both the original and translated versions will be displayed side by side to preserve transparency and user intent.
Review snippets are now generated for reviews in all supported languages.
I think I read that the reviewer must be working at a company that generates a certain amount of money annually. Is that the case, or is it open to anyone, such as small and medium-sized businesses?
In order to post a review on Gartner Peer Insights, the reviewer must:
Attest to the authenticity of the review by certifying that (i) he or she is not an employee or direct competitor; (ii) employed by an organization with an exclusive relationship with the product being reviewed (this includes exclusive partners, value-added resellers, system integrators, and consultants); and (iii) the feedback is based entirely on his or her own personal experience with this Vendor’s product/service.
Have an identifiable corporate email address that matches the stated employer. o Be a working enterprise professional (e.g., students and freelancers are not allowed to submit a review) including technology decision-makers, enterprise-level users, executives and their teams.
Have a confirmed profile on gartner.com or a credible online presence (e.g. validated company website and/or professional networking profile) that verifies his or her identity, employer, and role.
Be associated with an organization with an accessible and completely operational website, verifiable external digital presence, and/or an active and functional networking profile.
Not have a conflict of interest with the product being reviewed. Vendors, their employees, or anyone with an exclusive relationship with a product are not allowed to review their own product or a competitor’s product.
Will further geographical filtering be available, by country rather than just region? Or by language the reviews were given in?
Geographical filtering will be limited to region to preserve review anonymity. We are exploring the possibility of offering language filters.
