Adding or Managing Products and Services FAQs
Updated over a month ago

What is the process for a technology provider to request to have their products or services added to Peer Insights?

Technology providers can submit their request through the GPI Vendor Portal or contact the Peer Insights team. Vendors will need to review the list of active Peer Insights markets and categories to determine the best match for their products or services. The Peer Insights team will review the vendor’s request and will reach out to the vendor to provide them with an update about their request. The final determination if a product or service fits in a market/category is at the discretion of Gartner Peer Insights.

What are the product listing guidelines on Peer Insights?

A dedicated Gartner Peer Insights team uses a set of criteria for evaluating if a technology provider’s products and/or services align with the Gartner Peer Insights market/category definitions. The Gartner Peer Insights market/category definitions are periodically reviewed to ensure alignment is maintained. Please note: The Vendors and products listed on Gartner Peer Insights constitute a broader list than what appears in Gartner Magic Quadrants and Gartner Market Guides. The final determination if a product or service fits in a market/category is at the discretion of Gartner Peer Insights.

What happens if my product or service does not fit within the existing Gartner Peer Insights markets/categories?

If a technology provider’s product or service does not meet the minimum threshold of the features and services in a market/category definition, the Gartner Peer Insights team will notify the vendor they do not qualify based on not meeting certain criteria. Today there are products or services that do not fit within an existing market/category. We do keep track of these products to see if they meet the need of a future PI market/category. The final determination of product or service fit to a market/category is at the discretion of Gartner Peer Insights.
